Men can greatly benefit by exfoliation which helps in softening and toning your skin, along with removing grime and dirt, face scrubs repairs your skin by rejuvenating your skin cells, reduces acne breakouts and eventually gives you a spot-free clear skin. A face scrub is essential for men, as it is for women.

So you know everything about the Men's Face Scrub and the Benefits of exfoliating your skin but do you know how to exfoliate Your skin perfectly and without harming your skin? Well, Today's article is all about how to use a face scrub and how to exfoliate your face? Also, I have some best exfoliators for men. So let's talk about it in detail.

STEP 1: CHOOSE THE BEST FACIAL SCRUB FOR YOUR SKIN

Most commercial facial scrubs will state whether they are appropriate for dry, oily, combination, normal, or sensitive skin. Some facial scrubs will also be appropriate for all skin types. However, there are some general guidelines for matching a facial scrub to your skin type:

Facial scrubs made with apricot pits, walnut shells, almonds, or aluminum oxide tend to be better for skin that is oily and not sensitive.

Facial scrubs made with plastic beads, alpha-hydroxy, or beta hydroxy tend to be better for skin that is dry or sensitive.

Guys with oily skin should avoid pore-clogging oils such as coconut oil and look for ingredients that prevent acne breakouts instead. Face scrubs containing Salicylic Acid are an excellent choice for oily skin types due to their potent acne-fighting abilities.

If you have dry skin, you don’t necessarily need to use a different face scrub than someone with oily skin. The most important thing is that you use a face scrub less often.

STEP 2: KNOW WHEN TO EXFOLIATE

OILY AND NON-SENSITIVE SKIN

For Oily skins, I recommend exfoliating your face twice a week.

DRY AND SENSITIVE SKIN

As this type of skin is very sensitive, you have to take extra care. Do not exfoliate more than once a week.

ACNE SKIN

For acne skin, exfoliating a lot can cause irritation and can worsen the condition. Exfoliate only once a week and take extra care while exfoliating.

STEP 3: DISPENSE THE PROPER AMOUNT OF FACIAL SCRUB

With your face thoroughly rinsed with lukewarm water and still wet, dispense a pea-size amount of exfoliating scrub into the palm of your hand. Be sure to use no more than this amount as our products are concentrated and go a long away.

STEP 4: SPREAD EVENLY OVER HANDS

Before applying the product to your face, rub both hands together gently to spread the scrub to your other hand. This allows for a more even application.

STEP 5: APPLY GENTLY TO YOUR FACE

After you have spread the facial scrub in your hands, apply it to your face. Gently massage the scrub into your skin in a circular motion for approximately 1 MINUTE. Do not stretch or pull your skin during application. Do not press hard when you use a facial scrub. The scrub can irritate the eyes, so avoid this area when you apply the product to your face. You can also use this product on your neck and under your chin. If you have a beard, you may need to extend the circular rubbing motion almost 30 seconds to make sure enough product makes contact with your skin.

STEP 6: RINSE THOROUGHLY

Once the application is complete, you will need to rinse your face thoroughly. Use lukewarm water and be sure to remove all of the scrubs. Water that is too hot may irritate your skin, so make sure the water you use is a comfortable temperature.

STEP 7: GENTY DRY

After your face is rinsed and completely free of product, gently pat it dry with a clean, soft towel. Resist the urge to rub your face with the towel, as this may lead to irritation. If you have acne, instead of rubbing your face with a towel, try to pat down your face with the dry sections of your towel. This method will reduce irritation.

STEP 8: APPLY A MOISTURIZER

After your face is dry, apply a moisturizer to keep it well hydrated. Keeping your skin looking its best doesn't have to be difficult or confusing.
